Artists of River Town will participate in the Open Studios Tour offered by Chico Art Center for the first three weekends of October at the State Theater. Artists will demonstrate their work. The gallery will be open and the third week is special for “outlying areas.” Artists of River Town is a non profit organization devoted to showing, education people about art, and offering selling opportunities to local artists. We are seventy members strong and growing. Our first day as a formal organization was January 1, 2005, although we had been meeting for a few months prior to that date. We offer a busy schedule of events, monthly meetings, newsletters and opportunities for involvement in our community.
