 The 1st Annual Chico Palio was a blast!
Many community groups and Chicoans were out to see what may be destined to become Chico's fall community kinetic art race spectacle!
In all, 10 silk flags were designed, representing different boroughs and aspects of life in Chico—art truly representing our culture and environment. 7 community-built "litter" horses, each carried by 2 runners from the participating organziations, hoofed it around the Chico Municipal parking lot, during a beautiful, Fall morning.
