| Incognito: A Community in Pursuit of Francis Pickney |

Join the search this October! Presented by The Writing Loft Francis Pickney is at it again! This time he’s after our very own public art. Last year he stole artifacts from our illustrious local museums and this year he’s daring you to catch him again! He’s got trucks ready in the alleys, chain saws oiled, and a sophisticated pulley system to haul them away! Should we send up the Bat signal? Call the Green Lantern? Send for Wonder Woman? Or will the citizens of Butte County don their own capes and catch Pickney in the act. Let’s put him away for good! And even though, super heroes are never looking for a reward, we have one for you. We know all super heroes need to be appreciated.
Here's How it Works 1. First, go to the art site. Prove the art is safe and Pickney is nowhere to be seen. 2. Take a picture of yourself and/or your super hero friends at the piece of art. Be creative. 3. Send your pictures immediately to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it 4. Check The Writing Loft’s Facebook page to see your pictures and watch as a community catches a thief! 5. View the list below of the public art authorities have identified as threatened. Go to the www.TheWritingLoft.com/pickneymap.html for a map to the art locations. 6. Rewards go to the most creative and unusual pictures to be determined by our Facebook community. Go for it, you incognito super heroes!
