The Chico Independent Film Festival (CIFF California) draws Northern California artists and tourists to Chico. Chico independent filmmakers are in the forefront of digital film making. CIFF California melds local art and commerce with travel and tourism through Chico's only independent film festival!

The combination of local talent, virtual cooperative communities and interactive collaboration with local commerce and tourism ensures a successful event that will continue to highlight Chico filmmakers and artists. We look forward to promoting another facet of the vibrant Chico arts community during our second season of The Chico Independent Film Festival.

CIFF VIP Pass is $93.00 which includes 5 days of films, music and CIFF California Awards and a dinner at Crush restaurant in Chico on Sunday, Oct. 23rd at 7 p.m. for VIP and Sponsors with CIFF California Music Showcase featuring DJ Ted Shred.

Aubrey Debauchery will be playing after films for the CIFF California Music Showcase on Thrusday, Oct. 20th from 7 p.m. to Midnight at The Women's Club with catering by Woody Guzzetti for the 'Friends of the Arts' Sponsored Evening!

"Meeting the Kalachakra", by Lyn  Dean and Curtis Peldo will be shown Wednesday, Oct. 19th from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Harlen Adams Theater at CSU, Chico. This film marks the opening night - CIFF California "Alumni Showcase" World Premiere with the CIFF California Music Showcase with DJ Spenny at Duffy's Tavern from 11 p.m. to close.
