Artists will be demonstrating their work from Chico Art School & Gallery’s latest show, "Menagerie" from 12 to 5 p.m. A percentage of the animal art sales will go to the Kirshner Wildlife Foundation. Janet Lombardi Blixt, owner and instructor, has been voted "Best Local Artist" by the Chico News & Review for the past three years. She offers classes in painting and drawing for children and adults year round. Visitors may also view the gallery, which will be on display from Sept. 1 to Oct 30, during class times or by calling and scheduling an appointment.
