Photography drew me in with its ability to make an impact on my visual and mental perspective. That is why I became a photographer. Inviting my audience to have that same experience is what I attempt to do with my work. Photography allows me to thoroughly investigate a single moment of life in great detail. I work with digital photography and enjoy printing large-scale images and using strong contrast in an attempt to send a powerful visual message. When a photograph of mine compels a viewer to reconsider or change the way he/she thinks about or views a particular subject, then I consider it to be successful.
