Presented by Annie’s Star Quilt Guild
Annie’s Star Quilt Guild of Chico celebrates its 30th Anniversary with its biannual quilt show, Harvest of Quilts VII. The 200-member guild will show traditional and contemporary work ranging from wall hangings to bed quilts. The featured quilter is Goldie Olson. In addition, there will be vendors, demonstrations and numerous drawings, including one for the Opportunity Quilt. There will also be food courtesy of Pleasant Valley High School Culinary Arts class.
Annie’s Star Quilt Guild began in 1981 with 16 members and has since grown to 200 quilters. It is a non-profit organization and participates in quilting for community services, educational programs, workshops, challenge projects, and the biannual quilt show. If you’re interested feel free to attend a meeting held the first Thursday of every month at 7 p.m. at the Masonic Family Center at 1110 West East Avenue, Chico.
