Bring in the plants and pets and grab the blankets tonight. Records low temperatures are possible throughout the valley tonight as temperatures drop into the 30's. High pressure will begin to build in, winds will calm and skies will remain clear making for perfect radiational cooling conditions. Though no frost or freeze advisory are in place for the valley, don't be surprised to see some patch frost in areas.
After a cool start your Columbus day, temperatures will warm to right around the 80 degrees in the valley. Along with the warm temperatures, winds should become light and there will be plenty of sunshine.
Sunny and seasonable temperatures will remain the rule at least through the middle of the week. We will be watching a weak cold front for the end of the week, that could bring in a shower or two and cool temperatures off a bit.
Have a great holiday!
