The Humanities Center presents Elaine Scarry, the Walter M. Cabot Professor of
Aesthetics and the General Theory of Value at Harvard University, as one of Chico’s
President’s Scholars. She is the author of several books, including On Beauty and Being Just, Dreaming by the Book, and The Body in Pain: The Making and Unmaking of the World. Admission is free and open to the public. |
