It’s called Undecided, because in this two-day class you will be making a thick-fused glass panel that can become a Sushi dish; or as a glass blower, you can roll it up into a glass vessel at home. Either way, you will be working with well-known fused glass artist Patty Gray (www.pattygray.com). You will discover “working deep” in glass by using damming techniques and special firing schedules in the kiln. This class is offered at the beginning of Chico Glass Fest, and the California Glass Exchange 2008, being held this year in Chico, honoring 40 years of glassblowing in Chico. There will be three dynamic days of lectures, hot glass demonstrations, and studio visits.
