A four-hour training with Art Therapist Anna Reyner, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist from Los Angeles. Her unique background and experience working as a trainer in the field of early childhood education will bring alive the importance of understanding how art impacts learning, intellectual capacity and the emotional health of young children. Anna will guide you through specific ways to recognize stress and conflict in children’s art. She will provide information on how art helps children grow intellectually and emotionally and will offer strategies, tools and techniques needed to offer therapeutic experiences. Strong Starts is a Butte County partnership of mental health professionals that provide Behavioral Health
services to children 0-5 years of age. Strong Starts meets monthly with quarterly trainings to coordinate and provide a broad range of quality Behavioral Health services.
