Painting in an expressionistic yet representational style, Janet works in oils, pastel,
acrylic, and watercolor. Most of her work is created “en plein air”, which means finishing a painting on location, out of doors. Chico landmarks, local landscapes and home portraits are among some of the subjects Janet enjoys. “I hope that my art can act as a reminder to respect and appreciate the beauty of nature that we are blessed to have in this area. |
