Start your tour at the Chico Art Center to see a sampling of the work that awaits you in the artists’ studios. The gala reception is not to be missed and a great opportunity to plan your itinerary for the tour weekends. Artists in the Chico area will be opening their studios to the viewing public on the weekend—your chance to get a peak at creative spaces and learn about what they do. Many will give demonstrations. Talking to the artists gives you insight into motivations and working styles that adds to your enjoyment and appreciation of their work. And, yes, you’ll find lots of art for sale! No cost for gallery admission and reception.
